Beautiful teak sourced from my private collection to produce this this low chair that can also be used as a side table. The back rest and seat are hand carved from a single piece of wood. We added minimalist legs and small butterfly details inlaid into the seat section and smoothed out the natural hole. Both usable and sculptural. This chair or side table were sourced in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble.
