A Antique Country Ladder Back Sidechair, Delaware Valley, Circa 1750’s Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New Jersey Nicely turned bulbous front stretcher, and front legs. Chair appears to be at the original seat height. Seat also appears to be the original woven splint oak seat. 4 arched ladder splats. Made from Maple and Oak woods. Size: 17 1/2” wide, 15” deep, 40 1/4” tall. 16” seat height Condition: Refinished. The woven seat is the original seat, however it has losses. Lots of great wear from age and use. Lots of great patina. Wear and age related scuffs/dings/wear are consistent with age.
