Straight from Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen in Paris, this antique Louis XV chair has the look of a family heirloom that's been passed from generation to generation. It must’ve been a grand piece back in its heyday, which was probably the Late 19th Century or Early 1900's. There have obviously been repairs over its life as shown in the photos, but the tapestry fabric and brocade edging appear to be original and show signs of a beautiful chair with a well-loved history.
