Stunning Antique Punjabi Indian Wedding Chair with original finish and woven cane seat. Entirely Handmade — Hand Carved, Hand Woven and Hand Painted. Decorated with floral designs, stripes and geometric tribal patterns. Culturally, The color red symbolizes virility and happiness in marriage. Fabulous and unique, this chair is not with out age or wear! The delicate cane seat is original and I’m sure it is fragile! The sturdy round wooden frame is amazing but has a broken back foot (pictured) and will need to be repaired. The original paint job shows some slight rubbing and fading but this item is an all around wonderful piece sure to add interest to any Eclectic abode!
