It is one of the most iconic chairs by the renowned Scottish architect and painter, a pioneer of the Glasgow Movement. The chair is recognizable by its elongated backrest with an oval finial featuring a cutout resembling a bird in flight. This particular Argyle chair is an Italian reissue from the 1970s, crafted from black lacquered ash. It is stable and in very good condition, with only minor signs of use and age.
