Baia is a chair in which the design intention was to soften the visual weight of the upholstered shell seatwhole, to soften the profile.Upholstered seating is certainly of great comfort: sometimes, however, its lines can be weighted down because the thicknesses of the rubber create more visual clutter than the streamlined lines of thin seats.To soften these forms, Baia resorts to the wisdom of tailoring: the solid curved plywood structure isshaped in sectors, and creates a curved line that ideally follows the back and wraps around it.Technical description:Multilayer wood structure.Solid wood base with essence finish.
