Bamboo and rattan egg chair designed by Dirk van Sliedrecht for Rohé Noordwolde, 1950s. The sculptural seat features vertical bamboo ribs secured with darker rattan binding in traditional wicker construction techniques. Black enameled metal frame with splayed legs and white rubber feet. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
