Cataract II a side/filler chair made in solid ashwood by bending wood. Three of the legs have been made using the wood-bending technique to adopt an abstract natural wave-like design. It has been upholstered in a natural Sand coloured velvet. The grain-revealing polish adds a sense of organic design to the piece. Our Vrksa collection is based on bending solid wood to create the pieces - this has allowed us to design handmade furniture in a totally unique aesthetic in which the natural flow of the wood takes the reins of design. No two pieces are exactly the same because of the technique used; making each piece unique. Other points worth knowing:- The design may vary slightly from the piece in the pictures since each piece is handmade.- If a pair is ordered, the two chairs are designed to mirror each other.- The cloth for the upholstery can be customized.- You can choose from an array of finishes.
