Made of metal sheet, these seats will be displayed together as if a little army of alien soldiers to show the different parts of the auto body repair process. The starting point is the seat with the visible welding; the second has filler; the next has filler and a little bit of paint; and the last is the final seat, perfectly finished, painted and burnished. The first seat is brutish and industrial, the last stands as the commercial version, while the two in the middle pursue a more artistic approach.BRUTO is born with the idea of questioning what it means to be brutal.An imaginary inhabited by raw and honest objects.BRUTO started in our family workshop as a way of experimenting withmaterials and construction methods with the idea to obtain unconventionalresults and blurring the boundaries between art and design and strippedfrom any rules.BRUTO is Mut design’s purest essence new brand, a brand that aims to be ahome of collaborations with other like-minded creatives and friends.
