Designed by Philippe Bestenheider, the Edelweiss collection references both Alpine woodworking traditions and architectural structures. The gauged backrest interlocks with the seat, creating a perfect bond and a play between tension, balance and pressure. Wider than in the dining chair version, the seat provides excellent support, along with the large hexagonal-shaped back. Angled legs with a subtle tapered form complete the design. Crafted from solid ash wood, the Edelweiss Lounge Chair comes with different wood stain finishes.
