This nursing chair has many gorgeous carved features, truly highlighting the craftsmanship of the Edwardian era. The backrest is constructed with an intricate floral carved backsplat and complimenting upper foliage carvings. The backsplat is held by the lower and upper rail, and held between two side carved rails, which are finished with additional carvings to the top. The chair has a low comfortable sprung cream upholstered seat that has a matching brocade boarder. The upholstery is in great condition with minimal signs of markings. To the sides of the chair are carved railings that lead down to form the curved back legs. The chair has two elegant cabriole legs.
