A very nice pair of early George III–style mahogany side chairs made in England during the last quarter of the 18th century or in the mid 19th century. Construction and carving is correct for earlier date but finish and patina probably restored so not as wonderful as one would expect, hence the inclusion of a later date. In good overall solid condition.
