A fine and unusual pair of English William IV carved mahogany hall chairs. The chairs have shield form heraldic backs with robust acanthus foliage centering a horses head . The seats are solid and are over a skirt with a gadrooned molding . The front legs are turned and fluted. The chairs are in very good condition with rich color and a fine old patina.
