Made from giltwood and cane, we've had the caning replaced by an expert. A lovely addition to any room, or hotel suite. Our expert caning restorer has just completed the full restoration of the seat. So the cane is stable. This lovely seat was made in the 1920s and therefore has wear and patination consistent with it's age. It's a beautiful antique from France. Made and designed beautifully. Please take a close look at all our pictures.990 It is always recommended that cane seating has a cushion added, so the cane is protected. If a pad is used, the caning will last a lot longer and will not sag. Of course - you must never let anyone stand on a caned seat - even a small child can make a large hole!
