The Grand Prix Chair from Fritz Hansen is designed by Arne Jacobsen, and it shares a name with the Grand Prix award, which it received in 1957 at the Triennale in Milan, representing the “finest distinction” of the exhibition. It is recognized for its sharp angles and armless design. The chair has outwardly contoured legs that keep it nicely balanced. The chair is composed of FSC-certified wood sourced from responsibly managed forests, and a chrome steel frame strengthens it. Stack up to 12 chairs of the same, making for hassle-free storage.
