Hemi Lounge Chair

The Hemi Lounge Chair from Ferm Living reexamines the relaxed posture of safari seating through a more geometric and architectural lens, created in collaboration with Danish design studio Herman Studio. Rather than relying on cushioning, the design uses a suspended linen seat stretched between dark-stained beech members, allowing the fabric's natural drape to shape how the body settles. The cylindrical lower bar anchors the composition while serving as a footrest, giving the chair its distinctive structural character. Crafted from FSC-certified solid beech, the piece can be disassembled and arrives flat-packed.
