The design project for this family of chairs, small armchairs and bar stools was dictated by the inherent eloquence of a handsomely versatile natural material like cowhide. Dense with content and expertly crafted, the Isabel chair’s lines are clean and uncluttered. Entirely clad in cowhide, including the legs, the chair features a gently-enveloping and extremely comfortable seat back. The cowhide-clad seat back of the small armchair extends into the armrests which, by opening out slightly at the ends, create a delicate fold in the cowhide, reminiscent of the Japanese art of origami.
