Set of 10 "Lamda" chairs, designed by Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper for Gavina between 1959 and 1964. They are made of stamped, painted steel, which shows clear signs of wear, giving the chairs a narrative feel and making them truly unique pieces of furniture. Original condition - some still require restoration. Literature: Italy: The New Domestic Landscape, Ambassador, p. 42; Masterpieces from the Vitra Design Museum Collection, von Vegesack, pp. 44-45.
