Vintage Midcentury French Mediterranean Design Tripod Side Chair set of 2 by Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet. Made in the South of France, 1950's period. These are made from oak wine barrel wood parts for the base and woven abaca straw for the seat and back rest. Typical in the manner of making furniture and designs by the french couple Audoux & Minet. You can see these are all hand made as one is slightly higher than the other, and one is slightly wider than the other at it's base. The lower back model measures 77cm x 45cm x 48cm - seat height: 45cm. The higher back model measures 85cm x 35cm x 46cm - seat height: 47cm. The both are in good condition with normal signs of wear from their past use and age. Sold as a set of 2 side chairs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
