This Italian set of six Chiavari chairs have feet in golden brass. The Chiavari chair, called Chiavarina is very lightweight with a slender structure made the first time in the late eighteenth century by the craftsman Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi said Campanino. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
