Pair of French walnut plank seat hall chairs on cabriole legs in the Louis XV taste. The tall chair backs frame a shaped central back splat which terminate in a shoe at the base of the plank seat. The chairs are fitted with custom boxed seat cushions which affix at the rear with velcro tabs. The surfaces have been cleaned, polished, and stabilized as necessary. France, 1800's.
