This antique mountain chair is a beautiful example of traditional South German craftsmanship from the early 19th century. The chair is made of solid pine wood and is assembled entirely with mortise and tenon joints. This example has an old light brown coat of paint, which has worn away in a characteristic way over time. There is also an old, primitive repair visible on the backrest. All of this together gives the chair a unique, unadulterated look and emphasizes its authenticity. The chair has been carefully checked and is sturdy, stable, and ready for daily use. Old, sporadic woodworm traces have been checked and treated. A particularly decorative piece of furniture with history and character. 44 cm seat height, 88 cm back height, 43 cm wide, 40 cm deep.
