Solid wood French style chairs that were made by a higher-end, unknown maker in the 20th century. Although they are fine as they are, if you choose to reupholster, we would recommend upholstering the back 1/2 the depth of the inset area. We believe that this was not the original fabric and was changed in its lifetime. These elegant chairs are perfect for a breakfast or game table or flanking a doorway. These would cost several thousand apiece if reupholstered but we have them priced as is. They are very sturdy and do not need to be re-glued or repaired.
