Conceived as a lightweight, stackable seating solution, it represents a milestone of 1970s industrial furniture. Since its introduction, the Omstak has remained in continuous production, with sales exceeding one million units worldwide.The design is characterized by a perforated white lacquered metal seat and backrest combined with a chromed tubular steel structure. This construction reflects the industrial and functional approach typical of the period, emphasizing lightness, durability, and clarity of form.Its importance is confirmed by its inclusion in major international museum collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Design Museum London, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.This chair is in very good vintage condition and has not been restored.
