Very decorative country house side chair. It’s a so-called “Captain’s Chair” and probably made at the end of the 19th Century, circa 1880. The chair has been repainted several times and has gained quite a bit of wear and tear over the years. For me this is exactly what makes this chair interesting. It’s color is a Burgundy red and the height of the armrests is 71.5cm / 28.1 inch. I bought it in Denmark by the way.
