Se69 Chair By Egon Eiermann For Wilde+spieth, 1950s

Chairish

$3,295

An extremely rare pair of tripod chairs, model "SE 69", designed by Egon Eiermann in the 1950s for Wilde & Spieth, Esslingen (Germany). This model was only produced for one or two years before being withdrawn from the manufacturer's catalogue. Chrome-plated tubular steel frame with rubber feet, seat and back in plywood with walnut veneer. The chairs still have the original paper label under the seat. Lit: Egon Eiermann, Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe 1999, p. 93 - W. Schirmer, Egon Eiermann 1904-1970, Stuttgart 1993. Note: One of the rubber feet is missing and the chairs show signs of age. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
