This is a set of two 611 Stacking Chairs, originally designed by Alvar Aalto in 1929. These particular examples were produced by Artek in Finland in the 2000s. Their frames are made from birch, which is then lacquered, and the chairs are upholstered with a black webbing. The listed price includes two chairs to be sold together as a set. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
