This is a great example of an early 18th century Queen Anne Side Chair. The walnut frame together with the elegantly turned legs and shoe feet sets it apart. The crest rail and front eat frame are detailed with a well and elegantly carved shells. The knees are highlighted with acanthus leaf carvings. This is a very attractive chair which would make a great decorative eye-catching design element.
