This sculptural side or corner mid century modern chair was designed by Allan Gould in 1948 and was produced by Herman Miller. It s model #4171. This was considered one of Gould.'s best designs. It has been fully restored with a special black stain over the original birch wood. The new gorgeous upholstery is a blend of off white silk and linen. It is handsome! The original label on the bottom was kept and put in a plastic bag underneath. From every angle is changes form. It is small but powerful. This makes a great statement in any room.
