A stunning antique French gilt wood side chair, dating from around the 1930-50’s period. The quality is superb, this is beautifully made and has a gorgeous design. The pierced back has a harp shaped design with fine carving and finials at the top corners. We have cleaned the frame gently, It has a wonderful patina with just the right amount of surface wear. We have also just had this completely re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age.
