This vintage side chair was designed by Hans Vollmer and manufactured around 1907-1909 in Austria by the company Prag-Rudniker, for which Vollmer was the leading designer. It is made from oak with a corduroy upholstery which is most likely from about 1925-1930. This chair has been restored and remains in a very good vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
