Original white side chair designed by Harry Bertoia for Knoll in the 1950s, with original seat pad. As Knoll say: "Innovative, comfortable and strikingly handsome, Harry Bertoia's side chair delicate filigree appearance bellies its strength and durability". As Bertoia said: "If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them." Brilliant. Welded steel with rods of chrome polish paint. In good Vintage condition. The original seat pads are worn but useable. The chair can be used with or without them. At time of listing we have a pair of these, so the chair you buy may not be the one pictured but it will be the same condition and spec-wise. Approximate dimensions: 76 cm H x 54 cm Wx 54 cm D. The chair will be sent disassembled for safety.
