Wassily B3 chair attributed to Marcel Breuer for Bononia/Gavina. Made in sturdy white leather. Dating from the 1970’s (no signature, which the chairs from before 1968 have). The comfortable chair has light signs of use on the frame (see photos). The leather is in good condition with some traces on the seat. The Wassily chair was revolutionary when it was designed in the mid-1920s. It is known as the first chair with a curved metal tube frame. Bononia from Bologna produced the chair in the 1960s. Knoll bought the Gavina Bologna group in the late 1960s.
