C.1990's: Original David Sutherland's, a "To the Trade," Showroom and Manufacturer of Indoor/Outdoor Furniture, teak, wicker, rattan, including the re-introduction of specific pieces, made prominent and ever-lasting by John Dickinson, those Pieces in a collection and with the ok, prevue of His Estate. The "Makassar," Collection of leather-strapped, wrapped bamboo-style rattan chaise with wide arm rests and multiple slips-back rests, all has been constructed, along with dowel or cap-covers throughout the frame, which hides any of the screws, to not detract from the seamless look of the caned bamboo. This along with the sofa, and set of chairs is from the same collection, whereupon had been purchased in many multiples, for a busy and highly sought after Interior Designer, and residing in it's original crate, wrapped and blanket-wrapped. for the better part of almost 20 yrs. with the original tags on all the pieces, and in a A/C Climate controlled environment. They were "only," unwrapped in the process of photographing them for consignment. At this juncture the Designer has chosen to unfetter the volume of furniture in his/her domain. This specific collection is allocated for Indoor use, solarium, sun room, under a casita, family room, den/office, bedroom, etc. In great condition, unused only in storage.
