Chaise longue or rocking lounger from the renowned tubular steel furniture manufacturer Thonet based on a design by the Danish designer Torben Skov from the 80s. The special feature of this design is its flexibility. The chrome-plated tubular steel frame with its curved lines is not only elegant, but also extremely functional. The well thought-out design allows for several options. Simply turning the frame transforms the chaise longue into a rocking lounger. The armrests become runners. The lying surface also consists of a tubular steel frame covered with black mesh. On the back of the lying surface there are two pairs of hooks that grip into the pins of the frame. The hooks allow two different lying positions. A special detail is the padding for the head. A simple cylinder covered with black leather and flexibly fixed with a rubber. There is the Thonet marking on the underside. The lounger is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear or patina.
