This is truly a grand example of a mid-century Venetian glass chandelier. It showcases sixteen brilliant sweeping glass arms and a beautiful etched diamond pattern on the lower glass bowl and central column. Handblown details throughout reflect the artistry associated with fine Venetian lighting. The chandelier commands a particular presence that appears larger even than its thirty inch diameter. The piece has been fully disassembled and cleaned, including the inside each arm. All of the original brass hardware is present, adding to the intrigue of the piece. The chandelier has been fully re-wired to be electrically new, including (16) adjustable porcelain candelabra (E12/US) base sockets. It is suitable for contemporary use and includes six feet of chain, escutcheon plate, and all necessary mounting hardware for installation on standard U.S. junction box. If additional chain is needed, it can be supplied at no additional cost.
