1970s Italian Tiered Murano Glass Chandelier Attributed To Angelo Mangiarotti

Chairish

$3,800

A luminous cascade of interlocked Murano glass, this Italian chandelier is attributed to Angelo Mangiarotti for Vistosi, 1970s. Comprising 39 individual elements, each piece is free-formed from hot glass into a fluid loop—bent while molten into a teardrop hook. These hooks are not fixed with fasteners or adhesives, but suspended one within the other, linked entirely by gravity and tension. Hung in layered succession from a chrome frame, the pieces gather into a weightless dome that tapers gently at the base. As the form narrows, so too does the light—concentrating into a warm, diffused glow below. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The chrome frame shows minor surface wear and patina consistent with age. This fixture has been professionally rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists, with new sockets installed. Accepts seven E12 candelabra and E26 base light bulbs. Includes 40 glass pieces in total: 39 assembled on the frame, plus 1 extra Additional Dimensions: 3.5" Canopy; 33"OAH
