We're excited to offer an antique Egyptian wrought iron four candle chandelier which has been electrified, converting it from candle to light bulb. Dating to the 19th century or earlier, hand forged rustically elegant sculptural scrolled openwork design, featuring four scrolling arms ending in faux candle over iron fiolate candle cup and bobeche, retaining the original canopy (modern white canopy also included), with heavily patinated and distressed original finish, distinctive verdigris, oxidation, rustic patina over the whole. Dimensions: (approx) 31" High (with chain), 16" Diameter, with 10" chain drop Provenance: Acquired from an eclectic Greenwich, Connecticut estate Great condition, especially considering age. Presents well. Strong, sturdy and structurally sound, with nicely aged warm, rustic, patina, heavy oxidation and verdigris adding to the overall aesthetics, rich antique character and historic depth.
