Art Deco Chandelier by Degue - 1920s. This original pendant lamp captivates with its simple and matter-of-fact Art Deco design. The lamp has a signature on its satin frosted glass shade and gives a very pleasant light. This ceiling lamp is an absolute design classic from the Art Deco period. The manufacturer and designer of this lamp was David Guéron. He was a glass artist and founder of the Verrerie d'Art Degué in Paris, which produced art glass from 1926 to 1939. The cleaned lamp has 4 x B22 sockets. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
