Atelier Petitot Art Deco Chandelier in Pressed Glass and Chromed Metal. France, 1930s. A refined art deco chandelier by Atelier Petitot. The composition combines a large central bowl and three suspended shades in moulded pressed glass with a finely proportioned chromed metal frame. The ribbed glass diffuses the light with a warm, even glow while emphasizing the sculptural geometry that defines the design. The chrome surface shows a subtle patina with light wear and soft oxidation consistent with age. The chandelier balances architectural presence with elegant restraint and remains well suited for a dining room, entrance hall, or living space. The glass elements are well preserved and the overall condition retains the character expected of an authentic period piece.
