Danish Art Nouveau Chandelier with Marbled Opaline Shades, 1920s. Stunning and cozy four light ceiling lamp made in Denmark in the 1920s. Elegant curved brass arms holds three uplight marbelized opaline glass shades. Underneath is a larger double shaded light pointing downward. These ornate lights were typical for the Scandinavian Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Four E26/27 sockets. Recently rewired with new sockets. Brass canopy with hook inside. Good original intact condition with all five glass shades present. Natural patina such as tiny chips on the glass edges, a hairline fracture on the large shade and patinated brass parts. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
