Chêne Chandelier, Clear Crystal, Gilded Finish
$39,200
Gracious Style
Created by Marc Lalique in 1955, the Chêne Chandelier harmoniously complements the collection of Lalique crystal chandeliers. It consists of two crown patterns of oak leaves in satin crystal repolished on the ridges. This chandelier is part of the oak set consisting of a wall sconce, a lamp, a door handle and a crystal table. Subtle elixir between skill and daring, the result of precision craftsmanship, the Chêne collection embodies the core values ??of the brand: luxury, excellence and creativity. Trained as a jeweler at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris in the late 1880's, Rene Lalique gained recognition as an independent designer for some of the era's great jewelry houses including Cartier and Boucheron. Eventually, he turned to glassmaking, and his techniques were a triumph for the Art Deco movement. Every piece of Lalique is finely detailed and produced by hand in Alsace, France.
