With a postmodern aplomb, Dear Ingo combines 16 workaday task lamps in a riveting chandelier, each one with its own adjustable spring-arm. Exuding a whiff of the familiar, this eye-catcher reflects the witty aesthetic of its creator, Tel-Aviv-born, NewYork-based Ron Gilad, and is part of the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. Affixed to a steel ring that is hung by a steel suspension cable, the lights can each be individually directed or arrayed for the optimum balance in an interior setting.
