Glass and brass chandelier 2296 by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, 1950s Ceiling lamp model 2296 oblong, in frosted, transparent and colored glass with brass frames composed of eighteen bulbs. It has a long V-shaped body with a rounded base, in frosted glass illuminated by six hidden bulbs and topped by two V-shaped brass supports. Two wings in colored and curved glass arch over and around the entire length of the body and enclose another twelve bulbs. Produced in 1950s by Fontana Luce and designed by Max Ingrand. Good condition. The glass has slight defects. The brass has scattered marks and oxidations. Measurements in cm: 100x44x70h This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
