Iglu Led Chandelier

The Iglu LED Chandelier from Masiero examines the properties of a perfect sphere with a grand composition marrying solid and airy shapes. Creator Oriano Favaretto’s work focuses on the ideal balance of full and empty spaces. Here, Favaretto plays with positive and negative space with a linear setup of arms that upsurge to recall traditional lanterns. A slender body at the center balances the upward-facing light of the shades with an accenting downlight. This upward light exits as a diffused atmosphere through an intricate mesh hemisphere. The seemingly empty mesh hemisphere tops a solid metal hemisphere to create a united globe silhouette.
