Amazing pendant chandelier of six cascading lamps made of heavy crystal glass blocks attached to a chrome plated lamps frame. Made in Italy in the late 1960s by Fontana Arte. The singular lamps are hold by a steel wire, to which is attached the electric black wire. All wires are fixed on top of the round ceiling plate. The glass blocks are attached to the lamp frame with chrome plated screws. The pendant has been carefully restored, all electrical wires as well as the steel wires have been exchanged to new ones. There are approx. 8in (20cm) of steel or wire more in order to extend the singular lamps if needed. The chrome plating is in very good condition too with smallest signs of wear. The crystal glass blocks are in very good condition and are very shiny. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
