A beautiful, large nickel-plated brass crystal chandelier from the 1960s, manufactured by bakalowits and sohne, vienna, austria. The chandelier has a nickel-plated mirror-finished disc in the center and two tiers, covered by big, octagonal diamond-shaped faceted crystals. This chandelier has eight light-sources and is in excellent condition. A handmade, exclusive piece. Measures: diameter: 22 in, total height 21 in, height without rod 6 in. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
