Brass chandelier in a wave-ring shape; six E27 sockets. Original lampshades made of amber-colored crackle glass, presumably by Lobmeyr. The chandelier was designed by Hugo Gorge in the 1930s, but this particular piece was manufactured in the early 1950s. An image shows it in the meeting room of the Austrian Ministry of Trade (during preparations for participation in the 1958 World's Fair). The lamp itself is in its original condition, without any restoration or rewiring. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
