This is a very rare and oversized 9 light hanging electrolier chandelier Circa 1895. A full figured angel grasps a Ginkgo Biloba Tree branch. The entire fixture is in full relief and is quite extraordinary. Unfortunately, the maker's mark is indeterminate. Each light depicts a thistle like blossom in a whimsical botanical fashion. It most likely presented and showcased proudly the advancement of electricity and newly available light bulb invention. With so many lights this was intended to boast this advancement. It possesses ear-marks of pieces by Emille Robert. This piece is of the highest craftsmanship and is rich in details. Composition: brass and spelter. • Dimensions are: 40" long and 20" in width and 24" in height this height can be extended to 6. The approximate weight is 45 lbs. It has been completely restored by Vintage Lighting Inc. with all new wiring. Provenance: it was removed from the Charles Conn mansion in Elkhart Indiana.
