Whimsical ten-light composite chandelier almost certainly by Bill Huebbe (1929-2013) depicts five monkeys dressed as footmen supporting faux candles. Although it is missing any obvious label attributing it to Bill Huebbe it is almost certainly his work based on the materials, obvious age and construction. This was likely a custom order modified with crowns and finished in white plaster to fit into a more monochromatic decor scheme. It was probably done in the 1980s or 1990s when these chandeliers were extremely popular. The chandelier has been rewired and works well (see pictures - bulbs not included). In good shape for age it brings that whimsical storybook touch to a nursery or young child's room. A very special piece that can complement a wide variety of decors.
